In this sacrament, Jesus Christ forgives original sin and opens the gates of heaven for us and welcomes us into his Church making us the sons and daughters of God.
Each child's baptism is a special event for them, their parents, godparents and the parish too. Parents wishing for their child to be baptised should fill in an application forms, which are to be found at the rear of both churches. Baptismal preparation may begin once any member of the clergy has received a completed form.Monthly programmes run by young parents from the parish offer parents and godparents the opportunity to look at what baptism means.
