The Catholic Parish of Rainham has two churches: St Thomas of Canterbury and St Peter, Prince of the Apostles. These two churches serve the Catholic communities in Rainham and Twydall. Each church has its own history with parishioners from different backgrounds, ages, nationalities and talents that helped each church to be not only a place of worship but where community life is vibrant and loving.
The churches frequently come together to celebrate and share their Christian faith, parish events and life experiences. We have a strong communal unity between the churches and continuing to grow closer through our Eucharists, services and gatherings to reach out and bring God’s message to others.
