FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PROGRAMME 2008/2009
Application forms are now at the back of the Church for any child in Year 3 and above who wishes to take part in the First Reconciliation & Holy Communion Programme 2008/2009. Forms should be returned to 63 London Road by 3 October 2008. Late applications will be deferred until next year.

YOUNG READERS – ‘On Going Training’ – Saturday, 27 September
A time has been arranged for you to meet and practice reading on Saturday, 27 September. at 10.30 a.m. after Mass till 12.30 p.m. at St. Peter’s. Please try to come along.
ST. PADRE PIO’S PRAYER GROUP – Sunday, 7 September
This follows the 6.00 p.m. Mass on Sunday, 7 September at St. Thomas’. All are welcome.

DEEPENING OUR FAITH
The Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS) is a course, which is open to teachers, catechists, parishioners & all who are interested in the Catholic faith. The sessions take place at Canterbury and each module is taught over 2 Saturdays. Individuals are welcome to book for particular modules or for the whole course. ‘SEMINAR’’ (KSC) - Saturday, 27 September
Last year was a great success all are welcome to come to this ‘Seminar’ at the New Barn, Aylesford, Nr. the Book Shop, starting at 2.00 p.m. Fr Timothy Finigan will be speaking on ‘The Church, fit for Mission?’ There will be refreshments. Pease see poster.
BEREAVEMENT PRAYER BOOK
The Bereavement Prayer Books are being renewed and will be located at the back of the both Churches for anyone to write prayer request in specifically in relation of bereavement. These will be offered up by the Bereavement Support Team at their monthly meetings.
