Father Doug's 2006 MessageMany thanks to everyone who has helped to make this another successful year for our parish – first and foremost to the Parish team: Alan, Josie and Pauline, but to everyone else as well - to Altar Servers and the Parish MCs, Catechists for Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Children’s Liturgies and CaFE, The Card Shops Staff, the Child Protection team, Choirs and Musicians, Church cleaners and Maintainers, Collection Takers and Counters, the Gift Aid Organisers, those who decorate the Churches with Flowers, Cribs, Easter Gardens and so on, the Special Needs Group, Eucharistic Ministers, Financial Advisers, the Gardener, the Hall Manager & Secretary, the Magazine Editor, the Newsletter Team, the Parish Directory Compiler, the Parish Committee and its Chairman, our Readers, the Sacristan, our School Staff and Governors, the Traidcraft Agents, the Parish Treasurer, our Parish Website Manager, Youth Club Leaders and all who lead service and take part in our various parish groups – Prayer Groups, St. Gerard Groups, St Pio’s Prayer Group, - and associated groups too like the UCM, KSC and so on – indeed a “Big Thank You” to everyone who helps to carry the mission of our Parish to Rainham forward (including those I may have accidentally missed out in this year’s list!!)
