Parents of Catholic children are charged with the responsibility to ensure their children receive a Catholic Education. We are fortunate to have our school to support you in your duties.
In addition to the prime reason for its existence St. Thomas’ provides high academic standards, demands self-discipline and encourages all children to realise their potential.
The School is so situated to provide education for the whole parish and, indeed some children travel in from outside the parish.
The school admits once a year, in September. If you wish to enrol your child you are advised to make early contact with the Head Teacher, Mr. McKenzie.
Currently (2006), the school has 260 children on roll, and there are ten classes with twelve teachers plus the Head Teacher. Together with a supportive, caring non-teaching staff and of course, the parents, the school provides a warm caring atmosphere for your child.
The school enjoys the support of a P.T.A. and a full prospectus is available at the school.
